Uruguay · Vegetable-tanned cowhide leather goods manufacture
Marroquinería en Cuero Vacuno de Curtido Vegetal
Leather goods made by hand from vegetable-tanned cowhide in several thicknesses, with the maker dyeing and finishing the hide as well as cutting and assembling it, rather than working from pre-finished commercial stock. Products include bags, suitcases, wallets, mate carriers, motorcycle bags and musical-instrument cases. The documented workshop, Efficio, founded by Pablo Osorio and active for 12 years, describes its processes as '100% artesanales'.
