THE FOUNDER

Maurizio Serena is a brand strategist, designer and educator. He founded CRAFT — World Craft Depository to document the intelligence embedded in traditional making and help preserve, share and renew it.

His work explores how knowledge, culture and human experience can be translated into contemporary systems, services and environments. CRAFT grew from his long-standing interest in the intelligence embedded in making and the need to preserve and renew it.
